【大紀元2019年11月14日訊】（大紀元記者林丹美國紐約報導）13日早上，一顆重900磅的施華洛世奇（Swarovski）水晶星星被起重機吊起，固定在了紐約洛克菲勒中心（Rockefeller Center）的聖誕樹頂部。
由300万颗耀眼的施华洛世奇水晶制成的施華洛世奇水晶星星，13日早上安放於洛克菲勒中心聖誕樹頂部，將於12月4日點亮。（Swarovski推特）
這顆水晶星星由設計師利伯斯金（Daniel Libeskind）設計，直徑達9呎4吋，由300萬顆耀眼的施華洛世奇水晶製成，鑲嵌在70個發光長釘上。
這顆聖誕樹上裝飾著超5萬盞彩燈，12月4日（週三）將首次亮起，屆時將有電視直播聖誕樹點燈儀式。
聖誕樹將一直擺放至2020年1月14日（週五），之後將被捐贈給非盈利中心「人類家園」（Habitat for Humanity）用於建造房屋。

Tree Lighting Ceremony
The 2019 tree will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, December 4 on Rockefeller Plaza. Each year, thousands crowd the sidewalks for the event and millions watch the live broadcast. The tree will remain lit and on display on the plaza between West 48th and 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues through Friday, January 17, 2020.
- November 9: The Tree arrives on Rockefeller Plaza.
- November 13: The Swarovski star will be raised onto the Tree.
- December 4: The Tree will be lit for the first time on Rockefeller Plaza.
- December 25: On Christmas day, the lights shine for a full 24 hours.
- December 31: On New Year’s Eve, visiting hours are from 6am-9pm.
